Community Music School has proudly served the region by providing music education, scholarship and performance experiences for people of all ages, abilities and economic circumstances since 1991. They have an incredible line up of concerts still left in their 2016-2017 series. We hope you will take advantage of this special concert series that is available for our community to enjoy.
Doors open one hour before each concert for a reception for the latest exhibit in The Gallery at Community Music School. You are invited to stroll through the gallery and enjoy the complimentary wine and refreshments prior to the concert.

CMS Faculty Artists present The Music of J.S. Bach – Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 7:30pm
In celebration of Trappe’s 300th Anniversary, CMS Faculty will perform a program dedicated to the music of J.S. Bach. Bach, a passionate Lutheran whose beliefs and worship inspired some of the world’s finest sacred music, was an inspiration to Henry Melchoir Muhlenberg who settled in New Providence, Pennsylvania (now known as Trappe, PA). Trappe 300 will present a variety of events for the Collegeville-Trappe Community in 2016-2017 and CMS is thrilled to be a part of the celebrations. Tickets available online or at the door.
Academy of Vocal Arts – Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 7:30pm
Enjoy an evening of classical and near-classical repertoire by four young professional singers from the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. The program will include selections from opera, classic Broadway and Operetta. Under the musical direction of Luke Housner, this concert is a ‘something for everyone’ concert for you to enjoy and experience. The Academy of Vocal Arts is a world class training program for opera singers from around the world and is considered a post-graduate program, which is completely tuition free.
