Most of our insurance companies gave customers extended payment options for April and May due to COVID-19 to help those who may not be working during this difficult time.
Most of those extensions are scheduled to expire in mid or late May. If you are still in financial distress and have insurance payments coming due, please reach out to our office and we can assist you individually.
Things are changing rapidly in this pandemic and trying to publish all the ways that all our company partners are handling billing situations is impossible. If you contact us at 610-489-6911 we can let you know what the options are with regards to payments and possible reductions in premium based on the current environment.
Insurance Company Responses Vary
Each insurance company is handling their response to the COVID-19 situation differently. We can let you know what the options are with regards to payments and possible reductions in premium based on the current environment.
Premium Refunds for Auto Insurance
Most of our companies have passed along premium refunds to their personal auto insurance clients, due to limited use of vehicles during this time. Each company is handling the refund process differently. Some are sending refunds via check, regardless of the way the insured pays the premium. Others are applying the refunds as credits against existing account balances, either in total immediately, or spread out over future installments. Be aware that these premium refunds are not huge amounts – they vary from 15%-25% of 2 months premium to flat amounts from some companies. Contact us if you have any questions.
TR Insurance Office Information
Our employees are working from their homes, and all have access to company phones at the main phone number. Randy and Debbie are working in the Collegeville office, since they are close and it’s easier to handle the things that can’t be done remotely. While we cannot let the public into our office, there is a lock box at the back porch where you can drop payments or other paperwork that you need to return. We hope you are all safe and healthy, and promise you that we are here to help you during this stressful time. Hopefully we can open the office and return to a new “normal” in the near future.
